MM Mounts
MM mounts are fail safe marine engine mounts that can be used in a wide variety of applications from generator sets to marine engines to provide effective noise and vibration isolation. MM mounts have a compact low profile design, making them very easy to install. The rubber is loaded in shear and compression and MM mounts provide 3 way axis control with high vertical elasticity, increased longitudinal stiffness and optimal lateral stiffness for improved vibration isolation on that axis. These mounts can withstand the powerful propeller thrust of marine applications. The rugged design of MM mounts limits excessive movements under shock loads, it also has a protective finish which resists corrosion and the top metal cover protects the mount against oil and other liquids.
Stainless steel (304) metal is available for corrosive environments. Height adjusters (as seen in the picture below) are available for these mounts.

MM Mount Properties
The protective metal cover has a cross-shaped indentation which enhances its rigidity in mobile applications and improves its ability to resist against oils or liquids which splash onto it, allowing them to flow off of the mount.
The metal cover also protects the elastomer inside from dripping oil, diesel, ozone and/or ultraviolet rays which can cause major damage to rubber. All metal parts on MM mounts have an anticorrosive treatment which is suitable for demanding outdoor applications where harsh environmental conditions are present. This treatment is RoHs compliant.
The base of MM mounts are engraved with the hardness. MM mounts have an interlocking metal component which provides fail-safe protection for mobile applications. This device limits vertical movement when the mount is submitted to shock inputs. The different stiffnesses for each axis makes it possible to offer major flexibility in the direction perpendicular to the crankshaft of the engine. This provides more effective isolation from vibrations that all types of engines create.

Applications: Pumps, Compressors, Diesel and Gas Generator Sets, Mobile Electrical Panels and Marine, Industrial and Vehicle Engines.
